I have spent more than thirty five years working in and with charities - mostly in the hospice world. I spent three years at Princess Alice Hospice as Marketing Director, then thirteen at Hospice UK (then known as Help the Hospices). After this, I was CEO of Shooting Star Children's Hospices for five years. Since 2017, I have worked with dozens of hospices across a range of issues and subjects. This is the most difficult operating environment the hospice sector has ever faced. Rising deficits year on year, 30% wage inflation and falling returns from retail and fundraising. Inadequate and inconsistent government funding. But alongside these challenges, there are also opportunities. I can help you overcome the former and take advantage of the latter.
