Horizon one represents core established activities that provide the greatest profits and cash flow. Here the focus is on improving performance to maximize remaining value.
Horizon two covers emerging opportunities that could provide substantial profits in the future but that could require considerable investment.
Horizon three contains ideas for profitable growth much further on such as small ventures like research projects or pilot programs.
